Joining the Brighter Futures Consortium provides…

Equipment Sharing

All groups share access to equipment including, Laptops, Computers, 3D Printing, Games Consoles, Toys & Games, Arts & Craft Materials, Sports Equipment, Training, Printers, Video Editing & Green Screen, Stationary supplies, Office/meeting space & much more.

Employee & Volunteer Training

All groups are able to access both online and classroom based learning, this includes everything from Safeguarding to Food Hygiene, First Aid to Heath and Safety, additionally we access courses such as Youth Work Level 2 and 3, Mental Health First Aid and Leadership.

Health, Safety & Welfare

All groups are offered free advise and support on Health, Safety and welfare from a NEBOSH qualified practiitoner and member of the IIRSM, from simple advice on courses and training to risk assesments and RIDDOR, we try to cover all safety topics.

Networking and Friendship

We meet monthly, sharing best practice, asking questions and learning from each other. We also like to celebrate our combined successes and run joint team building activities.

Community Events

We run and support a range of community events and activities, from summer fayre to our Christmas Market, all our events help raise funds for local community groups.

Local Mapping & Consultation

We regularly talk to our members and local people to try and find out what is needed in our community, once we have information we use that to help us decide what we will try and achieve.
